Some Catching Up with the Blog!

Keegan is all done performing on stage now! The Saskatoon Boys Choir, led by Joel Swaan, did an awesome job at their Spring Recital! Keegan had some very proud family members in the crowd!! A huge Thank You to Grandma and Grandpa P, my brother Trevor and my Uncle Don and Aunt Eleanor for coming. It meant the world to Keegan to have some family faces in the group. He did so well, and ended up even doing solos since his singing partner was out sick. We got his hair cut, so had to share a new picture of him in his uniform (well, minus the tie).
Then came all his performances at school the very next week. Pope John Paul ll School, once again, put on a great show! I am always impressed with the staff and students at that school! They did the "Trial of the Big Bad Wolf", it was very well done and way funny :). Thank You to Annette for coming out to see Keegan perform, he was thrilled to have you there!!

Wow, where is May going, and why so fast?? It has been busy here, but going really well! My daycare is full, and I am thrilled and busy (and tired lol). We had alot of fun making our Mothers Day craft this year. On their cards is a picture of each of them along with a poem and their handprints inside. I won't post these as their pictures are on them, but they turned out great. They also decorated pots and Keegan and I picked out some flowers to go into them, that can be planted outside. The older child of each family decorated the pots, since the younger child of each family is almost 1 and 7 months lol.

Thanks for catching up with us!

It Has Been So Crazy!!

We have been crazy busy lately here! Haven't even gotten out for many walks, which I am really missing! Keegan is in the Saskatoon Boy's Choir and they are getting ready for their big Spring Recital on Sunday and then he goes on stage with his play at school next week. He's excited, but seeming overwhelmed right now with all the lines and songs running full-speed through his head!
Yesterday, the Boy's Choir went "on tour", and I helped as a driver. This was a benefit to me also, as then I got to go along and take lots of pictures :) The boys went to the Saskatoon Convalescent Home, Mayfair School and the Sherbrooke Community Centre. The people at each place were so welcoming of the choir and the boys did a great job!!

This is Keegan in his Choir clothes :)

Grasslands Walk April 22, 2007

We headed out to the Grasslands again on Sunday. This time we dragged along our dear friend Annette :) We headed out a different trail, and as we came over a small hill there were crocus' as far as you could see, it was gorgeous! We walked for about two hours through there, including down a hill into the ravine and up the hill on the other side twice :) I admit it, walking down hills and across bridges are two of my biggest fears. I managed to get down the hills on Sunday and was a happy camper! Going back up the second hill, I hit some wet clay and took a bit of a slide and fall, but Brian saved me :) I was pretty glad I was holding the camera, didn't need pictures of that!! The camera got a little clay covered, but still worked like a charm, so all is good :) The area we went into this time had signs of high beaver activity and was a very interesting walk, with lots to look at and talk about. This area is beautiful, and there are so many trails! I really need to start remembering my pedometer on these walks though!!

Our Family Adventure Walks

This is a topic that will be popping up alot in my Blog! My hubby, Brian, son, Keegan and I love to go for what we call "Family Adventure Walks". One of our favorite places to go is straight out Central Avenue to the Grasslands beside the Psych Center. Not sure if this says something about us, but we aren't the only ones, there's always other people out there! We went on Sunday April 15th. The weather was beautiful, just perfect for walking. The search for the crocus was on, and we did find some beautiful ones, not as many as I thought we would, but they are coming.

My New Challenge .... Keep Up With a Blog!

I know I have started a blog before, but for the life of me, I can't find it. I didn't do alot with it, and I am challenging myself to do more with this one. I have talked to so many scrapbook fanatics with blogs, I just have to join them lol. So hopefully I will be able to keep up with it, and not bore everyone too much :)
Have a Great Day!!
